Yeah, it's weird having a Wednesday off like this.

Anybody know where I can get a 16" mortar tube so I can fire one of these babies off? ;)

Thatīs some sort of firework, I think.

Neither northern nor western Europeans, like me, had a day off, good for you! But we had a lot of holidays during the last months cause of christian celebration days, canīt complain.

So, what did all you guys do on the 4th? Equipping the guitar with fireworks like Rammsteinīs guitarrist and rocking like crazy???

Well, the American tradition is to have outdoor barbeque picnics and attend a large fireworks display. For me, I just did a little work around the house, relaxed, worked on my guitar some (and some pedals too), and lit a few fountain-type fireworks out on the street after dark. :)

In Sweden we have something called "tomtebloss". They are pretty evil, but I can't find a suitable translation for them in english.
