That´s some sort of firework, I think.

Neither northern nor western Europeans, like me, had a day off, good for you! But we had a lot of holidays during the last months cause of christian celebration days, can´t complain.

So, what did all you guys do on the 4th? Equipping the guitar with fireworks like Rammstein´s guitarrist and rocking like crazy???

Well, the American tradition is to have outdoor barbeque picnics and attend a large fireworks display. For me, I just did a little work around the house, relaxed, worked on my guitar some (and some pedals too), and lit a few fountain-type fireworks out on the street after dark. :)
