Guys,

need your recommendation. My 15 yr old nephew who inherited all of the family's rudimental musical talents + perfect pitch has now began to play bas.
Alright, he's into death metal for the moment but also into the old goldies and classics.

So, I'm looking for a good instructional DVD or book for his birthday - don't want him to acquire bad technique habits in the beginning.

Your help will be greatly appreciated

Hi Aleksander,

You might have a peek at the instructional DVD (for bass) selection over on the Hal Leonard Music website perhaps? Try this link www.halleonard.com/

the Hal Leonard series can be real good, also

here's a Roscoe Beck thing (http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/1576234363/sr=8-23/qid=1151945233/ref=sr_1_23/002-9505929-8886407?ie=UTF8) worth a look

and some Bach stuff (http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/0634031430/ref=pd_sim_b_3/002-9505929-8886407?%5Fencoding=UTF8&v=glance&n=283155) that looks like fun
