That was a lot of fun, reminded me a lot of Rob Reiner's "interview" with Nigel Tufnel in "This Is Spinal Tap." :D

some of it was very lame, but Jeff was nice to the interviewer. It is interesting to see how his rig has changed over the years and his chops have gotten better :D
listening to the Jan Hammer stuff now

That's interesting because Christopher Guest based his character on Jeff Beck.

I didn't know that either, but the resemblance was quite uncanny. Now it all makes sense!

It's true. From the hair to the constant gum chewing to some of the stage antics.

I wasn't expecting too much from Beck at Crossroads; however, needless to say, I was very impressed. His band was exceptional as well.

I actually went in with every expectation that Beck was gonna steal the show. And he did, as far as I'm concerned.

Thanks for posting, cool clip. I read in a guitar magazine many years ago where Beck said all the best gear had already been made. His reference to Fenders & Marshalls and I suppose anything else he used in the 60's. Not many would disagree with him looking at today's vintage prices and the tone that still comes out of them.
