:D
Me: a "Time Solo" stylee fuzz... Delay pedal still on back burner but shouldn't take long to tweak into releasable shape.
YOU?

Well, you all know I'm not into pedal building - it's something I left in early 80s. However, there's one idea circling around in my head. An active hum killer box to be placed between guitar and amp. The purpose is to free you guys from looking for a hum free spot and strange body pose to keep hum to acceptably low level. Could be combined with some sort of clean boost too.
Should I do it or forget it?

A noise suppressor or something that eliminates 60 hz hum? If you could design a pedal that eliminates the 60 hz hum without sucking tone I think it would do very well.
Hi,
Well, I'm working on getting 10 models for MP pedals in production this year,
so far there are three models produced and a couple of more are hopefully released in October.
Research goes on in the BJF lab, but no new models are planned for release just yet- lots of pedals to make just the same.
Right, I think you should do it Aleks, there are only few units out there and there should be room for one more and yes it's a problem.
As my local submarine engineer once said: " There will be hum if you use that inferior Fender guitar- use this one with humbuckers instead.......;)
Have fun

For the moment I'm drilling, drilling, drilling. And drilling is not one of my favorites, it's actually horrible! Anyone here that likes to drill?

Thanks, Skreddy. I read that as you like to drill (boxes). I wish we were neigbours, then I could run over and leave it to you. In the meantime I could sit down beside you and have an irish coffee and sing a song in Swedish if you like.

Haha; no, I was just playing on the double entendre. I'm not really into drilling boxes, but I'll do it when I have to. I'd rather pay my 15-year-old son to do it for me.
You're welcome to bring all your work here along with one of your amps, and we can both sing drinking songs and play guitar way too loud in my livingroom to drown out the sound of the drill press in the garage.
We should do a West Coast get-together soon. Sacramento's nowhere near as cool as Chicago, but we could hang out in the Bay Area. Or better yet, how 'bout a European get-together. I'll have a bake sale to raise plane fare.

Sounds like a nice day. Later in the night we will probably leave the house without knowing why we do it, and then come back early in the morning singing the Swedish anthem for your son who worked all night.
Today I had power enough to pre drill (making hole marks with a hand machine for the real drilling that hopefully will be holes later) 20 boxes. Yesterday I pre drilled 10 and my hands went lame in a fantastic way. But today I made 20 because I used gloves. That's progression.
After this the real drilling starts (maybe in the weekend), which I do in a friends garage. He has a machine that's good enough for the job and I pay the electricity and machine wear with a bottle of scotch. I hope that is fair enough.
Over and out

Thanks. Hmm, it's a long bridge to walk. I'll take the skateboard.
