all,
i learned from Erick Perkins that C.B. Perkins (http://www.cbperkins.com) had been burglarized last week. the perps got through the gating and alarms long enough to swipe eight beautiful new Heritage guitars. they didn't take anything else and left one Heritage behind. no cases were taken. i asked Erick to send me a list of details and i'd be glad to spread the word, having been victimized (x3) in the past couple of years.
you never know, one of you may run across one or more of these in your path:
1. David Paul, Antique natural finish. Serial # V00903. This model is a semi hollow designed like a Gretsch with a Bigsby. This particular guitar doesn’t have the David Paul name on the headstock
2. David Paul, Transparent wine red finish. Serial # V04010
3. H150CM Left Handed. Vintage sunburst Finish. Serial # V13502. Les Paul style guitar without a pickguard.
4. H535 20th Anniversary, Almond sunburst. Serial # V04703-029. Seymour Duncan antiquity pickups The 535 and 555 are semi hollow 335 like instruments.
5. H535 Classic, Natural finish. Serial # V03401. Seymour Duncan 59 pickups
6. H555 Classic, Chestnut Sunburst finish. Serial # W34103. Seymour Duncan 59 Pickups
7. H555 Classic, Transparent Wine red finish. Serial # V01802. Gold Hardware, Seymour Duncan 59 pickups.
8. H575 Almond Sunburst finish. ES175 style instrument. Serial # V02004
if you do find one, pls contact Erick or Josh or Kent at the link above, or the San Jose Police Dep't. @ (408) 277- 8900
update/add'l. info: SJPD case number is 06-178-0084. all guitars are new & came w/Heritage cases, except one of the David Pauls, which was the NAMM guitar & had a 3rd party case. so, be wary of guitar sales that do not include a nice case.
thanks, all,
jeff
