There is not much more we can do!
We advertised in VG and Premier Guitar!
We gave away numerous stuff with no support!
We had numerous Demo Boxes and those that took part didnt follow simple rules like posting reviews and telling others about them.
We printed 200 t-shirts, gave them away for free and 5 people took us up on them.
We had numerous builders posting and no one interacted with them.
We sent out thousands of emails and people would show up and not post.

On top of all of the above the advertisers got a free ride and have offered little or no support.

Everytime we brought a new idea to the market some asshole stole the idea and the relationship!

At this point there is not much else to do.
We gave people a forum to speak their mind without censorship and they prefer to have a dictatorship. Point taken!

Should we start paying people to chat?
Should we bend over backwards or even further then we have to help out builders and get product introduced?

At the end of the day there are a few that hang here and they will always have the Hub to do that. We can afford the financial upkeep of the place.


Maybe some of you should start posting about the Hub in other forums if you want traffic :eek:

It's unfortunate that there isn't more traffic - I know when I registered I said I probably wouldn't post much, but I have at least tried when the time is right.

If someone is inclined to sign up, all they need do is go back through some of the old posts to see that there are a lot of great players, collectors, professional and hacks (mea culpa) that have and do post here.

I will promise to do my best to talk the talk as well as walk the walk for the Guitar Hub!
I know I've told some folks, but I haven't seen them register - I guess it's time to back and try again.

Guess I need to sit down and write out some interesting topics that could generate some buzz. Hmmm

Frustrating to say the least. I've told a number of people about The Hub and although only a smattering have actually stopped in, they've not posted. I even recommended on the Dude Pit bass forum that guys have their guitar players pop in - especially is they're hard core gearheads. Seems that everyone felt that TGP was the place to hang.....well how the f**k are ya ever gonna know if you don't stop in??

I know that those who do hang here completely appreciate the job that you're doing, J. Unfortunately, I can't come up with any plan to improve traffic.:(
