Thanks, PeeWee! Yes, Sir, I was aware of that clip on youtube and check it to enjoy from time to time - what a performance. "Eat It" is one of my fave albums.

Here's another one from german TV show "Beat Club", long before "unplugged" became fashionable:

Enjoy!

It always blows me away to see Peter Frampton looking so young in these old HP clips! Just think, six short years later he had a triple platinum live recording and was the hot ticket in Arena Rock.

FWIW - he's the cat playing the Epiphone Texan in this clip.

Speaking of Frampton, I caught a Sound Stage show on PBS a few weeks ago and he still sounds amazing. The guy has a very distinct phrasing style that I love to this day!

Frampton was a teenage idol when he was in The Herd and nobody thought of him as a serious musician and player, that's why he left The Herd and asked Marriott to help him form a new band. At least that's what I've read. I saw Steve Marriott just a couple of years before he passed away in a medium sized club and I still remember that show as one of the best live shows I ever experienced - he gave it all!

Great stuff guys - many thanks.
I never got to see Steve always wished I had - he and Paul Rogers are two of my favorite singers (along with Frankie Miller and anyone else that can belt like they can).

I haven't missed Frampton in concert in the last 8 years and now that he's finally got some excellent new material to preform - all the better.

I'm not a buck player, but my my wife bought me a Frampton Les Paul for my 50th. I've taken it out a couple of times, but I have to reset my amp when I play it - those pups are HOT!
