...Does anyone out there know the prices of the Tubewonder... Thanks
Hi,
ask Teddy at Make'nMusic, there'll be Tubewonders arriving in September/October (hopefully my chassie suplier keeps promised delivery time)

I'll be running a "summer batch" of 5 amps, 3 are already spoken for, 2 awaiting suitors.

Hey Aleksander,

Thank you so much for showing me your wonderful tubewonder amp at Chicago ToneFest.

It was fun to run so many possible tones. I had a great time playing your amp.

I heard this great news that Makin' music will carry your amp. I am planning to go back there
so I will play more.

Did you leave that amp there? Hope I can check it out again.

It was pleasure to meet you. ToneFest was really awesome!

Tomo,
it was a pleasure to meet you too, exchanging ideas is what really makes us richer and you had a lot to offer.

I could not leave the amp with Make'nMusic as it was imported allowed into US under TIB (temporary importation under bond) customs so I had to take it back. Also the amp was preproduction version which hadno footswitch - if you remember, the functions which will be operated by the foortwitch were on this particular amp activated with toggle switches on the rear panel.

At this moment i'm keeping a wide 30 delivery window from mid-september to mid -october, this will ofcourse narrow down as the production progresses.

There'll also be an original Tubewonder 212 speakercab at Make'nMusic, it's designed so that it's easy to change speakers without soldering. I'm sure guys will have a lot of fun with these rigs.

What tones does the amp do???

It's been a while since I listened to the clips, but I recall them all being somewhat low gain ....

I had tickets purchased for Chi-town Tonefest, but canceled, from travel burnout.

Mikey,
The first clips that I put up on the website were done with a medium/low gain version of the amp. There are new clips up recorded with same amp that was demoed in Chicago. This amp is gainwise in the T-wreck/D-amp territory but does cleans just as easily. Compared to the amp first clips were made with this one has three high headroom gain stages in the preamp with the HOD(Harmonic Overdrive) circuit being footswitchable in/out for cleans. The clips are recorded with backingtracks using 212 cabs with Eminence Private Jack speakers, SM57 mike closeup halfway between cone center and rim.
Have a listen... On "Talk to your Daughter" the HOD at 3 o'clock is switched on at ca 1:40 min mark. "Blues Shuffle" is HOD at 1 o'clock on all the time, all tone control is with guitar volume.

Sorry you missed the Tonefest, we did a "all dimed" wild thing with the amp, there was gain and body-position-controlled feedback all over the place.

Hi Aleksander,

Thanks for your kind words. That's right! ToneFest was great place
to share our ideas on Tone. Yes, I felt rich (my feeling!)

I am planning to go back to Chicago. I really like that city. I made
good friends there. Jason & Teddy.

Don't decode when to go to Makin' Music. I will do give some private
lessons there.

I like "Easy to change speakers" I have so many speakers!

Good to talk with you!

Tomo
