I was just wondering, I was thinking about when I get my PGC (had one on order for a few months actually sold my mini bi-comp to finance it but the the waiting) will it buffer the signal when on as I have to much cable. Cable length is about 25' so I feel i need a buffer should I get a separate buffer or would this do the trick?

I asked a very similar question of Bjorn over on the Techno Karate Page, here's his answer...
Right, well Teahead, that is actually a good question wether a buffer needs to be a dedicated unit. Any pedal run always on becomes a buffer, though it also may do other things. For instance if you run a compressor always on, perhaps set mildly, then everything downstream from the compressor will be driven by the compressor, while your guitar sees the input of the compressor, so in that case a dedicated buffer would be redundant.( that's if the compressor does not need a buffer to work it's best, which would be highly unlikely).
So, basically the PGC would be acting as a buffer in the situation you described. Mine is second in line, right behind my wah and it works very well for this purpose. Check out the thread on buffers over there if you'd like to read more about it.
