I guess you could call it Darwinism (you don't use it, you lose it!)
I like it better this way and its easier to mod.

Teddy is going to be taking the board over in a couple months and things will change as it will be The Make'n Music Guitar Hub. Ownership is staying in place, but this way his clients will have a dedicated forum to hang out. His guys don't post on boards either so it should be fun :)

Anyway, nothing was lost. We moved it all into one forum.
If you guys want something back just say so and walla its done!

Yeah, it's looking extremely lean. I have to go with Jason: "If you don't use it, you lose it" - I do understand this, but the first time I saw the new reduced look, my first thought was: "what will visitors and people who accidentally happen upon this place think - nuthin' happenin' here, let's move on?" :confused:
About Make'n'Music: wish I had the chance to come back to Chi-town again one day, I remember that place well with fond memories! :)

part of me really wants to make this place private for the 50 or so guys that hang out :D
The reason people lurk instead of post is probably because they realized message boards are fantastic for research but that is about it. Notice how so many of the other boards need someone (usually one guy, the same guy, over and over) to post al the time to spur conversation about bull shit?
We don't need that, we call it like it is! :D
This place might be too real for some to handle, and it the truth is there isn't enough to talk about every day once you get past the gear.
Lounges are great if you have 90% in common with the others, otherwise it becomes a pissing match. Calling people out gets old, because they will never change.

In life being the biggest is great if you get a trophy! Being the best is subjective! Being content is waking up in the morning and knowing you have done your best and you are happy with your life, family, job and everything that surrounds you!

We all know you will never earn a living from a message board or helping people out, some people will never understand this point.

The Hub wasn't created to make money, it was created so people who share a common bond and a common thought could hang out. This isn't a club, this isn't a biased community and there are no band wagons here.
