Dang, I was going to guess neon green. lol
Sounds like a winner. I played a relic 66 strat(I think it was a 66)... really great. it was a nice yellowed cream color... it made me think about getting a strat. (I had never done that before)
BTW, WE WANT PICS!!! :D

between 1959 and 1966 are the golden years for strats in my own humble opinion. The best examples I've found of originals and reissues generally fall in that range. You would enjoy the Boat neck profile or the SRV profile necks as they would probably feel more comfortable to you.
Wildwood had some 10"s I bet you'd dig.
Here's what they should look like. These are Cruz's

Teddy at Make'N Music has the finest Custom Master Built Fenders around!
He had Cruz do some special things and IMO they are worth every penny.
No need to remove the neck to adjust the truss rod ;)
The Menthal burn's are extra special as well LOL
I know Greg Lake bought 4 of them last week and between the last shipment and when I picked mine up Teddy sold almost all of them. They are just flying off the shelf. I haven't seen quality like this in a long time.Teddy told me Cruz is applying everything he gained from the Beck's and SRV project and it is working :)
I think there are 50 more on the way and that might be it for the year.

I played a Cruz recently at Fuller's here in Houston... I agree they are beautiful guitars.
I think if I were to get a strat it would be cream colored with a BIG neck and BIG pickups.
I don't even want to start thinking about that though... I'll wind up at the guitar store after work. lol
Very cool relic work to that one though J... I think Mr. McCready would approve. :D

You will not be disappointed. Great selection and very helpful people there...
Let me know when you are headed there... I will plan another trip. We can spend an hour or two jamming in a demo room... I need some more Pro Analog in my life.

The Quack is on my short list... that and saving money for a BJF Echo.
I am in the middle of working a deal for a 65 SG Junior in Polaris White... it is FAT. However, the price is a bit high for my liking at $6k... trying to figure that one out.
When did a $6k guitar become acceptable to me? lol :D

LOL, I keep getting phone calls regarding fantastic guitars and they are all over 8K, so I know what you mean. The world is a crazy place ain't it :)

There are worse problems to have than:
"Dang it... I just spent $3k on a guitar, and now I can't get this $6k guitar... (stomping feet)... "
lol :D
I think I will go home and pout about it... :p

Ha, you guys are shopping strats and I'm looking for a Trussart Rusty Tele :D
you know one thing about expensive guitars, they are what they are, both of you guys know enough now not to get hosed. Quality over quantity :D
It's my birthday, I think my strat needs some upgrades....
