Well, I think this is my first post here. I signed up a while back and forgot this was here, but a little PM reminded me. Thanks for the kick in the pants... :)
So here's the deal on me... been playing around 40 years here, and I've had at least one of most everything. Ouch. Guess I'm willing to spend money on the tone hunt.
I just exited my beloved blues band, which was so successful it had me away from home about three to four days a week for the last couple years. Love the CD, but man I'm tired of driving!
And I'm still playing with a covers band, not because it's inpsiring, but because it pays better than any other gig around here. ANOTHER ouch! :)
Currently playing a Grosh Bent Top Custom or a Grosh VT Classic through either a THD Flexi-50 or a Dr. Z Stingray, or both at once. I've done a bazillion clips of these amps and guitars, so if you're curious about them, let me know.
I've been on a number of the large forums but lately they just leave me cold, so I'm looking for a new venue. Maybe this is it!
I've you're curious, you can hear a few sound clips of my blues band on our myspace page at http://www.myspace.com/bluesalliance. Even though I left the band, I'm still running that, and their regular web page at http://www.bluesalliance.net. That's me with the Grosh there... :)
