FNG here...

Main gear: Les Paul Goldtop, HSS Strat, THD Flexi-50, Marshall JCM800 MV, Tim OD, Time Machine Boost.

I've been playing about 30 years and am currently in a 9-piece Funk/R&B band. Have been trying for about 2 years to put together a side project that does classic rock (AC/DC, etc).

Welcome, Mac! Enjoy your posts on univalve.net (which, unfortunately, is temporarily offline). Hope we can all share some music info. here, as well. Suppose it's time we boast about our Flexi's!

Welcome to the Hub! I have to say that I'm completely envious of your band situation - growing up in DC I was raised on early Parliament, Funkadelic, Ohio Players, Kool & the Gang, Mandrill, AWB, James Brown, Maceo & The Macs and all that good ol' funky mess! If I could be Jimmy Nolen for just one night..............:D

Welcome!

(sidenote to PeeWee: another "this or that" question: being Jimmy Nolan for one night - rather with James Brown or with Johnny Otis cutting the original version of "Willie & The Handjive"?)
