I enjoy checking in from time to time to see what is going on, but lately there is never anything happening on here. Did I miss something? Can you catch some terrible disease by posting in here? Has everyone sold their gear and joined convents? Has Rock finally died? Just making sure everyone is ok.

Hey, man!
I'm still here.......think Tom is too. It'll pick up once things have settled a bit; new ownership and all, ya know?? Let people know that we're still alive and kicking!

It does have a Ghost Town vibe. I guess there all at TGP.

I'm still around and check in on a daily basis if only to remove spam. Good to see you! :) Like PeeWee said: hopefully it's gonna pick up again soon under the new ownership. I'll be around.

I still check in from time to time, too. I'll throw a few pies if anything interesting goes down! :p

Hey guys! Been awhile since I posted here, had to cut back on the number of forums I visit as I was spending so much time internetting.
How's everyone doing? What's the story with new ownership??

Hey Steve!
Welcome back, man! I'd wondered where you'd taken off to.
The deal with the ownership change is that Jason wanted to sell his share of the board because he just didn't have the time to keep up with the operations. He ended up selling off to Teddy at Make'n Music.
From what I can see, there have been a few small changes so far - the new skin (which I like!) and paid advertising. All we need to work on now is a system that will prevent all spammers from registering and posting.

Thanks for the welcome back :)
The change sounds cool, I understand how life's changes can get in the way of the hobbies. Best of luck to Jason, hope he still participates from time-to-time.
Don't know much about vbulletin, but other boards I've modded or adminned at have been using confirmation systems for signups - either by mods/admins having to approve new users manually, an email confirmation, or captcha signups. I'd be surprised if vbulletin didn't support or have add-ons to help with the problem.
