Hi Melvin - Thanks - same to you. Merry Christmas to you (and everybody else who cares to peep in). :) I was just about to post my best wishes when I saw your post.
Not giggin New Year's Eve but tonight - our traditional Christmas show - in a different venue this year so I'm not really sure what to expect. Last gig will be on saturday 27th in a nice place about 130 miles away and I'm looking forward to that one.

At least with the price of gas (it has gone down in Germany as well I expect?) you won't blow all your money on getting there and back.
We're scheduled to do a Private part on the 3rd at the 'Friends and Family' discounted price, but at least I'll get a chance to play rather than just practice.
Hope you gig goes well . . . Full band that night?

Yes, gas has gone down in price here, too but we're still way ahead compared to the US - taxes on energy are so ridiculously high, around 75 % of the price of gas is taxes.
Full band gigs last night and on saturday, yes.
Last night was great, very nice and attentive audience, good rapport with them. Nice meeting people you haven't seen for a while or in some cases for years. My youngest guitar student (8 yrs old) came with his daddy and as far as I can tell, he was blown away, especially when he checked out our selection of CDs on sale and my wife gave him one for free. :)
