MIC or Pre-Out???

Just wanted to get an idea of whether Pre-out would be better for smaller venues or miking would be better?? On a Fender Supersonic 112

Mic. With the preamp out, you lose many of the tone shaping features of your setup - the power amp, the speakers, and even the stage or room. All of that stuff is part of what you are hearing when you play.

I like to mike and use a direct out .More tones to play with.:rolleyes:
