That's me... I've played over 40 years now, and have been on the eternal quest for much of that. Currently playing through some of the best amps I've ever owned. Here's the current lineup:
My main amp for the last two years: THD Flexi-50. I actually own two of these, as well as two THD 2x12 cabs, and the famous THD 4x12 cab. The 4x12 is an amazing cab if you can get past its weight. :) Here's a pic of one possible configuration of all this junk:

You can hear three clips off our CD at http://www.myspace.com/bluesalliance - these were all played with my Grosh Bent Top Custom connected directly in to the input of the Flexi. Both rhythm and leads were done with the same settings on the Flexi - I only rolled off the guitar volume to get to the clean tones.
Despite loving the Flexi-50, for some reason I recently got into the idea of running a two-amp setup. The first amp I tried was a Dr. Z Mazerati 2x12 combo - sounded great, but oh my aching back! I decided that I'm definitely too old to haul around a 2x12 combo any more. So I sold the Mazerati and bought a Dr. Z 6545 head. But just at that same time, one of the new Dr. Z Stingray amp heads came up used (barely) and based on the clips I had heard, I jumped on it. I then ordered a matching cab with Celestion Alnico Blues in it, and whoa! It sounds amazing! I've done the two amp setup thing with both the Stingray/Flexi and the Stingray/6545, and both setups are pretty cool. Here's a pic of the two Z amps together:

That's my Grosh Retro Classic VT there on the left, and my Fender Strat 12-string there on the right. I still don't have a Z cab for the 6545, but the THD cabs sound great with it. In fact it sounds great through pretty much any cab. Here's a clip of the 6545 into a Rivera 4x10 with Fender speakers: http://www.gear.strayca.com/audio/6545/MoneyForNothing.mp3 (4 megabyte .mp3 file). That baby rocks!
And the Stingray - my new love affair! Talk about a great sounding amp! Here's a wank with just the Stingray (no backing track) using my Tele and a bit of the old TS-9. Whoa! http://www.gear.strayca.com/audio/Stingray/Stingray2x12Wank.mp3 (6.3 meg .mp3 file).
As you can see, I have a bit of change tied up in this stuff. But I haven't mentioned my Rivera Sedona yet, or my Fender Cyber Twin... but I'll leave those for another day. :)
