Hey Guy's! Got my Dyna Red Distorion last friday. I'm going to post a more indepth review when I have more time with it, and when I have time to record some clips.
I just have to say it is a really cool distortion. It seems to take qualities that I like of my Tonebone and Keeley RAT and even more touches of it's own to make an amazing grit pedal. One of the most notable qualities, it has an amazing continuum of gain levels. It goes from barely any grit at all and just warming up, beefing up the signal to full bore high gain. Also it has a slight (I really mean slight) dip in the mids that makes it just a tad meaner than my stand-by grit pedal the Eternity.

Welcome to the fold, Aaron!
:D The DRD is one that people need to try more often!
Great pedal and it takes to so many amps.
Enjoy it

Hey Aaron, how are you? I've still got Robert's amp, I need to get it to him. Let me know if you or Jana are going to be in town.
I am looking forward to the BJF tourbox finding it's way to me, assuming I was added to the list.

Hi Aaron,
You are absolutely correct on your observations of the DRD's distortion taper. I LOVE the DRD at lower dirt settings (especially with a Telecaster in particular). That said, the Model "R" is an amazing distortion box too & it has become one of my defacto standards lately it's just awesome through the right speakers.
