The BJF/Guitar Hub Tourbox has landed! Well, the RRB & SBEQ that Bjorn so kindly agreed to send me before they go to Dean for the US tour, have landed. I'm already blessed with a nice collection of BJ's pedals, including a SBEQ, so don't think I'm missing out on anything.
Here are a couple of clips I made today with my Tele & AC30. The first one compares bypassed tone to RRB set at minimum gain and from there the gain knob is gradually wound up to maximum, with bypass tone comparisons here and there. Some rhythm sounds are achieved by reducing guitar volume...

I found the RRB to be a great match for my guitar and amp. I especially loved the sparkling clean tones that come with cranking the gain control and rolling back on the guitar volume. It's great after the EGDM to hike the gain and also fantastic before the HB, to hit it harder and push more break up.
In short, I've thought about the RRB quite a bit and this trial has done nothing to quench my thirst. It's probably helped it to jump the queue in fact. I'll try and post some more thoughts when I've had it down to band rehearsals. Thanks again to BJ for cutting me in on this! Those of you waiting certainly won't be disappointed with the RRB.
Briefly, two SBEQs together is a thing of beauty! Tried one before my PGC and one after everything except the delay. Just the right level of control and capable of the most subtle tonal changes, I might just need a second one of these. ;)
