Here's a comparison between the trem sounds of my '62 Princeton and '64 Princeton reverb amps.

I go back and forth a few times using an A+B/AorB box and them let them duke it out together. :D
Both amps had their "Intensity" dials up at about 8 and were in the lower third of their speed ranges. The '64 can go faster and slightly slower than the '62, but the '62 has a deeper, more pronounced throb.
I was having some good fun playing with iMovie, so please excuse the filter abuse. What started as simple visual clues to which amp you were hearing soon got out of hand. :p
