As an avid filter fan, that was great.
Wish I had $350 to spend on one!

The old EH Zipper (not the new one) is one of my favorites.

I've got a Mooger Fooger lo-pass pedal with a built-on rocker pedal to control cutoff frequency. It's like a foot-controlled 'remix' pedal, or some crazy techno wahwah! I'm trying to build the hi-pass equivalent too - with resonance knob - in a crybaby box... anyone know of any schematics that might do this?

State Variable 2nd order filter will do it. Simultaneous LP/HP/BP outputs so you can have either or. There's a lot of these schematics floating around.

Nice demo!
Hi
The VCF is a custom tuned Biquad filter. which is similar to a State Variable Filter, while the Biquad has only BP and LP outputs and for the VCF only LP was choosen.
The VCF was originally designed as a remote wha and had a 5 meter long cable carrying DC to the remote footcontrol- wha's are variable lowpass filters with resonance so........ I thought it fun to make a fast envelope detector as an option for remote control and ample controls were made to make it possible to closely adapt response to playing style, and this circuit originally mounted in a 19" rack back in 1989, I have slightly updated so it can run on 9V.
I'm most happy to learn that you enjoy
Have fun
BJ
Hi Bjorn,
Is there a way to add the exp pedal jack as an option? Or was it one or the other..
Also any chance there will be any VCF's on the way to Donners soon?
Can't wait to try one after seeing the demo.:D
Thanks

I was lucky enough to get my hands on one of the last Lovetone Meatballs made, so Im using that as a filter. Its amazing what that thing can do and the sounds it can make when, and only when you actually know how to use it. I also want to get my hands on a mf-101 soon...VCF looks very cool too.

This unit sounds killer!! I wish all envelope filters sounded that good; sounds like a cross between a good wah pedal and a talk box, but doesn't sound over the top. Very cool!
