This man is very astute! I was reading the post about being in Tyson's Corner, VA (truly Hell On Earth if there ever was such a place) and his experience at the local Starbuck's. I had to laugh at his comments about the stupidity of people and their inability to drive! He's spot on! LOL!

But to be fair, only less than 20% of the populace in NOVA ( Northern Virginia ) are locals. I'm one of the rare few who still reside here and am looked upon like some kind of anomaly. I was born and raised in Alexandria, home of both George Washington and Robert E. Lee and lived there for 42 of my 43 years on this earth. It's nothing like the place where I grew up, which was a sleepy little river port. Most of the folks here are transplants these days; here working for whatever adminstration is in power, some idioic senator or congressman or even some high tech gig of which there are many. Hell, Fairfax County alone has over 1 million people now and is growing every freakin' day. So the folks that Greg witnessed more than likely were from someplace OTHER than NOVA. The few of us that are left here shake our heads and try to figure out just what the hell is wrong with these dolts........... just like Greg did! :D
