I'm on that "half ass diet" where I basically tell myself I'm dieting, yet don't actively try all that hard.
I just popped some of those garlic & cheese biscuits in the oven, like the ones you get at Red Lobster,...and I'm home alone with nobody to share them with, boohahahahahaa.
I have GOT to start using more self control. I'm only 185 and 6ft., but it hangs in all the wrong places.

Had wicked Mexican food in Las Vegas, NM for lunch and ate dinner at a Brasilian restaurant in Albuquerque.
Actually, I've been eating way too good/much this week in NM. :p

Cold pizza for breakfast. Hey, some old habits are just too hard to break!
Actually, the thing that I absolutely have to stop is pulling into the 24 hr. Mickey D's drive thru at 4:00 AM coming home from gigs - any wonder that I pop a Prilosec tab every day??
I have gotten better - used to be an after gig morning ( OK late afternoon, but still "breakfast" ) ritual for me to head off to my fav Tex-Mex joint after I dragged my ass outta the rack, order up a skirt steak burrito w/ jalapenos on the side, guacamole, pico, rice , wash it down with coffee and a couple of Shiners and then top it off with a double shot of chilled Sauza Conmemorativo tequila! Those were the good ol' days........now I can't even stand the smell of tequila and jalapenos fry my ass. :(

Spent the weekend in Seattle at a Christian Musician's confernce - so ate out for 3 days straight - and none of it good for me. But, most of it was quite tasty. The friend that I stayed with had her husband grill up some Salmon steaks thursday night after we flew in, major goodness there!

Man...I hate the holidays. It took me over 9 months to lose last year's holiday weight and Thanksgiving is a week from today. My wife is from South Carolina, so we head down to see her family over Christmas. Last year, we had to attend three separate Christmas dinners over three days, all "southern style"; turkey, honey cured ham, candied yams, cornbread stuffing, green bean casserole, giblet gravy, mashed potatoes, both pecan and pumpkin pie, banana-nut bread, pumpkin bread and a huge assortment of cookies. I finally lost that extra weight in September! Her family is so staunchly Southern that it's like being in a remake of Gone With The Wind!
Of course, I'm not helping myself by eating slabs of butter crust apple pie in the morning, either! All I can say at this point is "Let the games begin"........

I'm getting multiple crowns and a few fillings the day before Thanksgiving.
I look at it this way, I won't gain weight sitting in the corner, sucking olives and the Percocet will make the in-laws much easier to deal with.
...and my teeth will look great!

LMAO!! That's one way to look at it. Ryan, are you going for the gold??:D Maybe a little diamond inlay?

Actually, I've always stuck with porcelain but it was explained to me that gold are MUCH stronger...so I considered it for the back molars since they wouldn't be noticed. I'll bet I just end up sticking with the porcelain crowns.
...although I may stop on the way home and pick up a faux "grill", and slap it on before going into my sister's where Thanksgiving is this year.
