Played and purchased a Dual Drive (#133) this weekend at Make N Music. Wonderful match with my Victoria Twin and a tele.
I really liked the amount of gain on tap and the two settings of overdrive. I liked engaging th pull fat boost...
I didn't get back to Houston until very late last night, so I haven't been able to run it with my HB or PPF, but I think it will work nicely.
Very glad to have picked this one up.
Sorry about Sat. night, I had about 30 things to do and before I knew it I was looking at 10pm. Anyway, it was great seeing you again.
You coming back for Summerfest?
Enjoy the DD, Scotty will be proud :D

No problem on Saturday... you missed a hell of a show. The Black Keys were really ON. New material sounded great... new gear too. JTM 45 with a marshall 412 and a custom tweed covered head with a marshall 812 cab... a variety of fuzz pedals with an Ibanez "lawsuit" sg custom in white... cool stuff.
I had a great time testing out all those amps and guitars... that Nocaster is still in my head... so are the Louis amps... very nice stuff.

I don't think I will be able to make Summerfest... I have a family reunion near Dallas to attend. The cool part about this side of the family... the reunion is a "concert" with a stage, PA, etc... everyone plays music. My dad and I are planning a set of "our kind of music" (ie not country and gospel).

Glad you had fun, next time we will do later in the day and go grab some food!
You should get your dad to do Parachutes with you ;) that would be sweet!

Great times this week with the pedal... in the green level with my vic set low... I get this wonderful raunchy blues tone when finger picking... really organic and tweed. Very cool... I could set it to capture a lot of the vibe I like about he HB too, but this pedal is a bit stronger and more clear... the HB gives your tone more color.
Anyways, in the red channel I was getting a tone like a OD set high with a fuzz set low stacked together... very cool, especially with the guitar volume rolled down...
Anyways, thanks for making a cool pedal. It might become the only pedal drive pedal in front of my amp.

Enjoy the Crowes... my wife and I are going on July 2nd down here...
It should be a guitar and amp tour de force... The Crowes always have great tone and extended jams at their shows. Good stuff.

Hey Pro Analog Dude! I almost had to throw down for you yesterday. Some guy on HC was dogging you really bad, then he editited his post, and admitted he was talking about some Pro-Tone guy? Anyway, I was about to defend your honor, then I didn't have to...
