What do we want? - We want it all and we want it now!:D

But seriously, I'd like a possibility to do a poll, sometimes there a questions that do not require a long answer.

For example:

Would you find it useful to have switchable pre/post EQ reverb send point?

o--- I 've been waiting for it all my life!
o--- hmmm, why not, maybe...
o--- OMG yet another meshuge idea from those crazy swedes!

The option is there. If you start a new thread look at the bottom of the page, you will find the Poll option.

I'd like to see a technique section where I may be able to get some advice from better players

Hi Papatar:
There is a Technique section, it is under our premium content, but we are not charging for it yet.
The section is hosted by Tomo Fujita and he will be posting articles and interesting things to spark conversation. You are also free to ask him any question you want :D
All the best,
Jason

Can you explain what the titles mean? Why is Roadie showing up in all of my posts? Why is Hammett showing up in yours? How can I be Kirk :D

You get a new title after you hit X amount of posts, so keep posting and you can be Kirk as well.

If you guys want me to change the titles, start a thread and vote on it. It is your forum, not the Admins :)

Hi,
Oh, I think there are ample areas and I shall just try to find some time to write some posts ;)

If there is interest to discuss technical or electronic aspects, as in how do I fix this? or how does this work?, related to guitar, amplifiers and pedals, I wonder if that not could be fun too.

Have fun
BJ

I think we can add a Body Electric (how to, how does and why) forum, all we need is a host :) any volunteers?

Hmmm..."a host" as in "Letterman" :D
I think I can burn some midnight oil for this. But pls don't ask how the "dynamically controlled sag insensitive phase inverter" is designed...and I don't have all the answers, but among us here most questions will surely get an answer.
A pedal expert I am not, for this, another master of the craft we needed.

Hi Alex
You are more then welcome to host, maybe we should split the section up to Amp and Pedal techinical Assistance so you don't have to worry about the pedals.
Thanks,
Jason

Hi,

Well I rather thought a general technical assistance might be fun.
Pedals don't generally need technical assistance but I am sure one can find some fine topics just the same with a little help fro friends.

Also I tend to look at the electrical guitar with all its extensions as an instrument in all and what you do with electronics is to tune the voice.
Thankfully choices to do this is not limited as it once was to musicians
but there are all kinds of textures and one you can call your own.
This is the greatness of a new century.

I thought about a general one as well with multiple hosts. I think Dean is working with everyone who is advertising whether or not they want their own section.
I kinda like the new area name, but since this is a forum for the community you all shall decide the outcome of this one and let me know :D

By the way, I worked out the cabinet with Eero and all is good, thank you!

I clicked the link for Custom Sounds at the banner, and I'm afraid it's missing the dash in the middle. http://customsounds.com is a car sounds company, very much unlike http://custom-sounds.com.

Hey Guys,

I'm happy that Dean invited me over to this forum.

Maybe a BJF Pedal Settings or stacking guide?

My man!
How are you?

Happy to see you here.
We can develop a stacking guide. Pop on over to BJ's area, create a thread and we will all post our secret tones :)
I know Bjorn has a list of MP settings so maybe he can post them :D

Hey J!!

Thanks, man. I'm glad to see you here too. Ugh, I would have loved to attend tonefest. As you can see, my BJF collection is steadily growing. Thanks for your guidance in the past!

I think we need to spread the word about this forum, or it will die from lack of traffic.

We have been running a 1/4 page ad in VG for a couple months.
We ran a full page ad in Musicians Hotline for NAMM.
Any help you all can send our way would be most appreciated!!!!

Try filling your water bed with gasoline instead of H2O! I kid you not. A good friend married one of Beck's former girlfriends 2 years ago. Ruth, who's a Brit, dated Beck back in the '80s and said that she would freak out because he would kick back and smoke cigs on his waterbed. I'd always heard what a gearhead Beck was, but this is really over the top! She's stated that her years with him were some of the craziest times in her life; she now is a special needs teacher at a Christian day school in Northern VA. Talk about a 180!

LOL, the title's are being voted on now in another thread as some of our members didn't like the current titles.
Be sure to voice your opinion there!
As for Mr. Beck, I think he is higher up on the list, so keep posting ;)

Not sure if this has been addressed yet, but I only wish the site was faster. It seems a bit slow for me, anybody else? If it's simply $$$ that prevents it from being any faster, I understand and would be fine contributing to the site.

Ya know, I was noticing that today, too - i was chalking it up to internet gremlins, but it feels a bit sluggish this evening still.

It's probably the server. It isn't too much internet traffic, that's for sure.
