I found fullertone's website (http://webpages.charter.net/todryk/todryk/Index.html), there's some info there. I've not yet looked for reviews at TGP, HC, etc, though.

Guys it is pretty safe to say there will not be any overage on these raffles. As I have yet to see much feedback on anything we do and there are about 15 guys who particpate on a regular basis. The Hub is funded by 3 individuals, any overage would go to paying the server and advertising fees :D

All of our advertisers are here becuase we have a relationship with them and they are not being charged!

If you do the math at $10 a ticket with a prize worth 3800 bones, many will have to shell out just for Make'N to break even. I think the intent was to provide a reason for you all to come here and hang out. If for what ever reason we do not get people buying tickets we will offer a credit to Make'N for the $10 or refund the monies paid.

This is a big test for you all. Much of what we have in store depends on an audience and as of today this place is a ghost town

We keep saying this is your board and we mean it, outside of removing spam threads at your request I do not think the Mods have had to do much. I want to keep it that way unlike some other places where Freedom of Speech is a phrase you hear about, but never see practiced!

Demo boxes, t-shirts, etc are all still coming! We just need to have a community looking forward to it, so help us out and you shall receive-we promise!!!

I liked the idea of a raffle to stir participation in this forum and to get some manufacturers and dealers a little exposure. I was quite surprised to see a $3K-plus item being raffled. This forum is too new with too few members to support such a hi-dig item. For such an item, I would expect the tickets to be more like $50-100. We certainly don't want our supporting dealers to lose, and the site itself gets nothing. I suggest a more affordable item around $200-300 to safely test the waters here for raffle-readiness.

I think I agree with this. A $4K amp with number of people we have here seems over-the-top. I'd hate to see Make'n lose their shirts on a such a prospect and be discouraged from doing something similar in the future. I"d like to see this place grow and something like this is a great idea to help make that happen, I hope it can be successful.

I was thinking the same thing. Maybe the raffle is offered in other forums as well. Anyway I'll make the donotation to the Hub.

It's a good idea to post this in every forum as a sticky. Some folks will settle in to a board and link directly into the forum(s) they are interested in.

Hi Guys:
I really appreciate you all looking out for Make'N :D
The amps retail value and cost are completley different as you probably know. Plus everyone has reasons for doing things. Maybe they are in a very giving mood :D

There is an annoucement in every forum. If someone could post it in the amp section of TGP that would probably help. I am sure theere are other forums you all visit that would love a $10 amp :)

Thanks,
Jason

Wow, I'll be in as soon as my paypal account settles from other items sold.

I agree it might have been better to start with lower priced items.

Did enough tickets get sold for this? Shouldn't it be gift is equal to number of tickets sold. I mean that is a pretty decent offer on their part. And we all are sort of in this together... just my Unsolicited opinion..peace, mike;)

Just popped for 2 tix. I can't even win an extra scratch ticket playing the lottery, but it's for the better of the community and it's not a huge amount when you factor in what it's costing Teddy (thanks, mang!). Who knows, maybe one day my number will hit and then it'll be Strawberry Hill and Cracker Barrel Extra Sharp for everyone! :D

Here is some info on the Scot60:
http://www.gbase.com/Powered/GearList.aspx?Dealer=6db8a458-a165-4add-9847-7da43608278c&GS=Y&PageIndex=1&PageSize=25&SF0=5&SD0=0&SF1=7&SD1=0&DealerId=6db8a458-a165-4add-9847-7da43608278c&Make=ProAnalog&TF=1&TI0=7&TI1=28&TI2=29&TI3=30&TI4=31&Grp=5&SearchBar=True

MORE GOOD STUFF!!! We have here the newest brainchild of the sick and twisted pedalmeister Mr. "Scotty". It's actually a joint venture- hand built by Bob McBroom of Pedalworx to Scotty's descriminating specifications. The Scot 60 is a dirty boost that goes from light clean to med gain crunch, with high headroom, touch sensitivity and harmonic feedback! Controls are CUT and LEVEL. The CUT control is very active from searing Treble Booster to phat ass Bass boost with no flub, mush or fartiness (works like the Cut control on a vintage AC30). This little sucka also has plenty of headroom level without falling apart. It sounds great before and after OD's, distortion and fuzz pedals too! Use it to add smooth body and richness, hair and harmonics or just slam your next pedal or tube amp. Of course it cleans up sweet and jangly too. Features include: NOS Bud aluminum boxes from the 1970's (so small in size), Cool silver vein powder coating with white writing, True bypass switching with LED (no tone suckage), 9VDC adapter jack (negative tip)and a whole lotta vintage tone!
