So, I recieved the MP Delay late last night. It got held up in the mail and didn't make the NAMM show. Harri and the guys were real dissapointed people could not check it out. I'll preface my comments by saying I am super picky when it comes to delay. Its all a feel thing for me even more so then tone. I'm a tape dealy guy. Really the only delay I really love other than on old tape unit is the Chandler. Most delays seem to get in my way and never really get under the tone to me. I plugged in the MP through my Super last night and it immediately felt right. It actually reminds me of the Chandler quite a bit in that regard. It in most way is a great sounding analog delay that happens to be digital! The tone is very good. It has a little feel and noise to it that reminds me of tape. Its doesn't get extremely long, but thats ok with me. Slap sounds are amazing in this, possib;y better than the Chandler in this regard. In comparison the Replica is a pedal many people recommended to me, but while being versatile, it never felt right to me or got out of my way. This thing does. It's gonna really work well in my applications. All in all its a killer soundin and FEELING unit! Props to Harri and Bjorn!!!

Just imagine if the MP pedals could, I don't know...catch up to the tourbox and be added to it?

Hi,

I am not in control of this. I would very much like to hear what you think of and will see what I can do.

Meanwhile soundsamples are being made and I hope to hear from my testguitarist tomorrow and I'll post a link as soon as I know where the samples are hosted.
There are also samples coming on the www.mpamp.com site hopefully some by Josh Smith- that is if he has the time.

Have fun and see you around
BJ

That's a great distortion sound. I'd love to know what gear or pedal caused that!!

The delay will be mine for sure!!
