Asking for link posting

Hi everyone. Trying to get some more members over here to get this wonderful forum ( I mean this) going, today I asked the mods at the LPF and TFF if it would be okay to post a link to the guitar hub in any of the forums. Here's the results so far:
TFF: got an immediate reply by a mod who wasn't sure and asked me which forum it would be ( seems like they had trouble with some other forum before). I replied and he told me he would sort it out with the other mods and would contact me via e-mail. Thread deleted. Got an e-mail couple of hours later and he said: "No".
LPF: posted the same question (Front desk section) - no answer, no reply - thread deleted.
What's up with that - jealousy?

I've my own personal thoughts regarding the LPF and it's heirarchy, but like my mama taught me, if you have nothing nice to say; say nothing at all. TFF is operated by the same hypocrites, so I'm not surprised in the least. And seeing as how certain folks like to post snippets from other forums on either of those just to stir up shit, this is all I'll say regarding this matter..........

At least the mods at TFF dealt with my reply, no matter how it turned out. LPF just deleted my thread immediately.

Most other boards do not like blatent spamming the content matters not :D

The best thing to do is to create a post that contains something other members will want to look at and point them here either with a URL or content. For example, you could ask Submit a thread on cool T-shirts and then tell everyone about the free ones here and give them the URl.

I was going to suggest putting a link in your sig. It's a good place to link to just about anything.
