I've been drooling over that since NAMM coverage.

The Tophat Supreme Sixteen is based on that circut. Based on my experience the Tophat will sound even better.
The Vox sure does look cool though!

Tell what you've heard?
I got the complete demo at NAMM and these amps are unreal and will probably cause many builders to go back to the drawing board. I doubt anyone can produce a cheaper, better sounding vox.
Get the wood enclosed one, it is limited and looks amazing.

Is it cheap? How much? BTW - I've heard several times that those EF 86s can be very microphonic.

Looks really cool. I wonder how much though? I've wanted a real AC15 for years.. glad they did this one, although I'm guessing it'll be way pricey.

I'm hearing $1400.00ish. But I'm not sure of that.

Handwired with a Cele Blue for $1400? That would be great, but I would think it'll be higher than that.

I understand they will be made in China. I'm sure that will hold it down some.

Yup as are all new Vox amps. :(
yes they are made in China and the MSRP is 1400ish, you can't beat it.
I heard two, the difference being the enclosure and I was floored. Call Teddy and ask him ;)

Made in China... that price makes sense then. Are they hand-wired in China? I've yet to own an amp made in China, but if these get good reviews and are reliable and servicable... I just might.

They seem to have the electronics thing down... the low cost labor doesn't hurt either... I am excited to try one of these out... I am sure I will be ready to move the Swart soon... lol.
