Hey,

I'm new here, but I'm really excited about the newest addition to the family.

Thanks for the kind words sliding-tom.

I'll make sure to let you guys know what it sounds like when it gets here later this week. I'll be recording some clips for you guys to take a listen to and for Fred to use on his website.

Welcome!

Yeah, that's a great looking amp. It's so refreshing to see a different take. I'd love to hear clips, can't wait.

Very Nice, loved the movie. Amp definitely has the southern blues/classic rock thing going on, and I really, really dig the unique design!

Thanks guys!!! I think Fred has done a really good job of designing an amp that not only has a unique voice, but also a unique look. His customer service has been nothing short of amazing. Here's some of the in-process pics.

The amp is a bit of a departure from the standard Tupelo Honey. I had Fred add a few features to meet my need (hence the B Vance Signature version).

Fred added a blend feature to allow me to play through the hotter channel 1 and the more brown-sounding channel 2 simultaneously. This will enable me to get some very interesting tones I think. Fred also implemented a footswitch to control the channel selecting and the boost function for channel 1.

He also added an on-board attenuator to take the the output power to 3/4 or 1/2 (standard power 30 watts).

I helped Fred with the design of the speaker cab as well. He customarily uses two Weber Blue Dogs. I tend to like a more round sound so I switched one of the Blue Dogs for a Silver Bell to help tame that high-end a bit.

Like I said before...the amp should be here this week. A full report to come. Thanks for the interest.

Wow. How he builds those amps for that price is beyond me. Just think of how long it takes him to roll that custom chassis!

Got an email from Fred. He said he ran through with the footswitch and when he plugged it in, there was a buzz sound. He's combing through the preamp section tonight and is getting back with me tomorrow. Looks like another week of waiting...
