That's getting raves from the guys on the tonefactor boards.

Has anyone actually got one yet?

Mine should be 1 week away from construction based on advice from Marc.
Then probably about 10 days shipping to Sydney Oz....
Like Y'all I have high expectations.
Will leave feedback once I have had the opportunity to try it out....
The following link is interesting;

Scroll down to the "PINK FLESH" for feedback....

Working out the finishing touches on a silicon fuzz to nail the "Time" solo now. It's kind of a bitch to get the noise level down and keep a good bit of grunge at the same time. Hopefully I'll have it ready over the weekend.
I'm using my Screw Driver's architecture but all 3 transistors are BC109C's. Here's a preliminary clip: http://skreddypedals.com/circuits/LunarModule/release01.mp3
I'll make a new clip after more tweaking of the circuit over the weekend. It'll end up with a bit less bassiness and hopefully a bit lower noise by the time it's done. Maybe, just maybe a bit more grunge and sustain too. We'll see.

Hey Skreddy, I've been waiting for you for almost 2 weeks now. I understood that you (your son actually) would come over here to drill some boxes while you and me would have a few bottles of Guiness in the sofa. What happened?

That sounds really nice. :)

Here's a clip of my final version (echo added afterwards in CoolEdit): http://skreddypedals.com/circuits/LunarModule/TimeSolo4.mp3
Got rid of the excess bassiness; there's about the right amount of low end now, considering the target tone.
This clip was made with the bridge pickup of my strat, fuzz set to max, sharpness to min, and the range trimpot at about %75. It will get a bit more grungy than this, but that increases noise levels too. Listening to the clip, I would probably turn down the sharpness a bit to eliminate the woofiness with the pick attack.
Also, at moderate settings, this thing gets a lot of the rhythm tones from Dark Side of the Moon too. At minimum sharpness, it does the solo tones from "Money" and so forth.
I'm getting some user feedback from a few individuals, and in the next month or so I'll either release this pedal ("Lunar Module") as a new product or else decide that it's too much trouble. I anticipate a lot of positive feedback, so my decision may well hinge on how easy it is to come up with enough quantities of matched transistors.

Marc, is the trimmer an additional sharpness control?

There are two trimmers. "Range" sets the gain of the input transistor, and "Presence" is a tone control that darkens and rolls off spikey highs and noise.

Hey folks,
I was lucky enough to throw some money at Marc a few months ago. I was also lucky enough to be rewarded with Lunar module s/n 01. It figures the last month has been super crazy busy for me, but the few minutes I have [played it. I liked it, alot.
Very quickly, it seems to me it fits between the screwdriver and the pink flesh. fuzz down it has OD breakup, fuzz knob up however and it crosses into fuzz territory.
Now this was only based on 30 minutes of try out. I just wanted to say that I totally dig the Pink flesh, hits that spot between OD and raspy fuzz. So at first when I played with the lunar module, i was like, darn , I have this covered with the pink flesh. But then I noticed the OD tones, and then I noticed the two adjustment dials on the side. basically, I have only scratched the surface of what this pedal can do. and it is not dead quiet, but well well within being noticable.
I know this is sort of a lame review. but as I say, just wanted to get the ball rolling.
peace mike

Awesome; nice to hear from you!
It's not often somebody gives me money and then just says "build me whatever you want." Glad you like it.
For all who are interested, I'm holding off for maybe one more month before I start making Lunar Modules. Thanks for your interest, and watch in November for the new page on my site.
Also, watch for the December issue of Guitar Player for a Pink Flesh review in the roundup section. :)

Well, I got to spend just a little more time with the Lunar module. If you happen to like the screwdriver and/or the pink flesh, you will like this pedal as well. :D While my friend was playing guitar through the pedal, I turned the knobs and it seemed like their were a bunch of pedals in there. fuzz set at about 9 o'clock and sharpness at about 2 o'clock, and we a had a dead on Panama tone by VH. (only wish i could play that good-or 1/10th that good).
I wouldn't say this pedal overlaps the screwdriver tones (which I dig) and pink flesh, more like compliments them.
Of course I could just be stoked that I have the pedal...:D.....It has been a pleasure dealing with Marc.
With any luck I will have a better review in the near future and possibly some a/b ing against/ with other pedals.. (Joakim, I didn't forget you either, Fetto deluxe has been screaming 'play me" ever since it arrived. :)) have a good one, peace mike
